Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) is seeking a Communications Director to lead and further develop the company's communications function and strategic communications agenda.
The role combines strategic leadership, corporate communications, change communications, stakeholder engagement, owner and market communications as well as crisis and emergency communications in an operating environment where visibility, trust and responsibility are of paramount importance. You will be responsible for the overall communications function and its continuous development.
As Communications Director, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on matters related to communications, reputation, stakeholder engagement and societal relations. You will lead a team of approximately ten communications professionals as well as a broad network of internal and external stakeholders and partners.
The position reports to the Chief People and Communications Officer and works in close collaboration with the CEO and the Director, CEO Office.
Responsibilities
- As Communications Director, your key responsibilities include:
- Leading and executing TVO's communications and stakeholder engagement strategy in accordance with the company's disclosure and communications policies
- Corporate, brand and reputation communications
- Internal communications and change communications
- Media relations and stakeholder communications
- Coordinating owner and market related communications in collaboration with relevant business functions
- Guiding communications related to public affairs, advocacy activities and stakeholder engagement
- Crisis communications and emergency preparedness communications
- Leading and developing the communications organisation, external partners and stakeholder networks
