Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps / Infrastructure Consultant

Assignment Overview

We are looking for a senior consultant with strong experience in platform engineering,

Kubernetes operations, Linux environments, and backend automation development.

The consultant will work in a Software Operations organization focused on building scalable

tooling, infrastructure automation, and operational platforms supporting large-scale global

systems. The role combines software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, and

operational platform ownership.

A significant part of the assignment involves operating and developing large-scale

Kubernetes environments running primarily on self-managed and on-prem infrastructure.

Required Competence – Must Have

Strong experience operating and maintaining large-scale Kubernetes platforms in self-

managed or on-prem environments

Several years of hands-on Linux experience in both development and operational

environments

Strong Python development skills with experience building automation, backend

services, tooling, and APIs

Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools such as Argo CD

Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud environments

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Linux environments

Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, container platforms, and

distributed systems

Experience with Docker and containerized workloads

Experience designing scalable operational tooling and automation workflows

Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django

Ability to work across both development and operational/infrastructure domains

Experience with automated testing and test strategies

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Structured and methodical way of working

Ability to contribute to technical discussions, architecture, and long-term platform
