About this role
You will develop advanced control solutions for electrical energy systems, power converters, and industrial drives. Working at the intersection of embedded software engineering, electrical power engineering, power electronics, and control systems, you will contribute to the design and implementation of intelligent control algorithms for modern energy and power conversion applications.
This role is suitable for both experienced professionals and recent graduates who have a strong academic foundation and relevant knowledge in the required technical areas.
Requirements
- We are seeking candidates with a combination of expertise in embedded software engineering and power electronics/control engineering. A solid understanding of both areas is essential, although relevant academic projects, research, or hands-on experience may be sufficient for recent graduates.
- 1. Embedded Software Engineering
- Essential skills and knowledge:Programming experience in C, C++, and Python.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Desirable skills and experience:Experience with unit testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, or continuous integration (CI).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and static code analysis tools.
- Experience developing embedded software in large, multi-team engineering environments.
- 2. Control Engineering and Power Electronics
- Essential skills and knowledge:Knowledge of at least one relevant application area, such as power conversion, solar energy systems, battery energy storage, wind power, microgrids, or smart grids.
- Understanding of power electronic devices and systems, including inverters, rectifiers, DC/DC converters, and switching power supplies.
- Experience or a strong theoretical foundation in control loop design, system stability, and dynamic performance analysis.
