CNC turning/lathe machinist

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist in Turku to work with a CNC lathe.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and programming a CNC lathe. The position requires the ability to independently create and modify CNC programs both on a computer and directly from the machine control panel.

The machine is equipped with a Siemens control system, and CAM programming is not used for this lathe. Therefore, strong CNC programming skills and the ability to work independently are important for this position.

We offer a varied position in CNC machining in Turku, where you will have the opportunity to use and further develop your professional skills.

The work is initially carried out in one shift, but you should be prepared to work in two shifts if required.

Salary will be determined based on your skills and previous experience.

What we expect from you

Previous experience in CNC turning/lathes

Experience with Siemens control systems

Ability to independently create and modify CNC programs

Ability to read technical drawings

Good command of English

A precise and careful approach to work

Willingness to work in two shifts if required
