About this role
We are looking for a (Senior) Technology Specialist to join our Mobile Broadband Services team.
Elisa's Mobile Broadband Services team drives the operation and lifecycle management of critical mobile packet core functions. We ensure high-performance service delivery today while actively pioneering the next generation of core network products and advanced technologies.
As a (senior) Technology Specialist, you will help design, implement, and maintain mobile packet core infrastructure and services. Your role is critical in ensuring seamless broadband services, high availability, and optimal network performance. You will also work closely with vendors and other stakeholders in planning and implementing new technologies and end-user products.
Your main tasks:
Mobile packet core infrastructure management: designing, deploying and managing core platforms, including hardware, software and cloud native network elements, while ensuring scalability, redundancy and security.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect core networks.
Participating in the development of a highly automated, intent-based model of operating core networks.
What we are looking for?
Knowledge and practical experience in
Linux system administration.
designing, deploying, and operating virtualized environments.
deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes.
automating infrastructure deployment or service provisioning (e.g. GitOps)
Familiarity with
Kubernetes troubleshooting, observability, networking and security best practices.
3GPP specifications and core concepts of mobile packet core.
Understanding of
routing protocols and networking concepts (e.g. BGP, EVPN, -VXLAN).
concepts like infrastructure-as-code, version control and disaster recovery.
fault and performance management of operator networks.
incident and change management processes.

Interest towards and experience in AI assisted workflows and tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
