AI Director - Machine Learning | Fully Remote

<p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></p>

<p>We are looking for an experienced and passionate AI/Machine Learning Director to become a defining member of our Engineering team at Escape Velocity Entertainment. You will research, develop, and prototype AI/ML solutions to unlock new experiences and push the boundaries of our ambitious project.</p>

<p><strong>What we will do together:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Oversee ML bot research, development, and implementation.</li>

<li>Identify and evaluate opportunities to use generative AI across the production pipeline.</li>

<li>Gather AI-related ideas and needs from teams and convert them into actionable plans.</li>

<li>Drive execution of approved AI initiatives, prototypes, and workflow improvements.</li>

<li>Explore and prototype local models trained on internal data.</li>

<li>Develop guidelines and best practices for agentic AI systems (e.g., Windwalk, Antigravity).</li>

<li>Educate directors and teams on AI capabilities, limitations, and practical usage.</li>

<li>Up to date knowledge with emerging AI models, tools, and industry trends.</li>

<li>Understand major AI models and clearly explain their strengths, weaknesses, and applicability</li>

<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Previously held an AI/ML Lead/Manager or equivalent position.</li>

<li>Solid experience with Python and C++ with strong expertise with ML frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.</li>

<li>Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>

<li>Expertise in AI/ML theory, algorithms, and system design.</li>

<li>A collaborative, mentoring-ori
