Data Engineer Motorit // Gothenburg

Do you want to help build a modern data platform from the ground up and create data products that will be used for much more than reporting? Together with Oddwork, Motorit is looking for two Data Engineers to join a new data team and help build the foundation for how Motorit and Bilia will work with data, analytics and AI going forward.

About the role

As a Data Engineer, you will be one of the first members of Motorit’s new Data team, working alongside a Lead Data Architect and another Data Engineer to build a modern Snowflake-based data platform from the ground up. We are looking for two Data Engineers with complementary strengths. Your expertise may lean towards Data Engineering & Platform, with a focus on pipelines, automation and CI/CD, or Data Modelling & Data Products, focusing more on modelling, harmonization and data quality. A key part of your role will be turning data from multiple systems into structured, reliable and reusable data products for Customer 360, analytics, AI and digital applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing transformations, data models and data flows using SQL, dbt and Snowflake

Developing the platform's Silver, Business Rules and Gold layers

Harmonizing data and implementing business rules, mappings and reference data

Building data products for Customer 360, analytics, AI and digital applications

Developing automated tests and ensuring high data quality

Contributing to CI/CD, observability, performance and secure handling of PII
