Role Summary

This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.

As a Software Developer within Product Communication, you will join Team Lynx, part of SWS (Scania Workshop Suite) — a digital workshop platform used today in Scania's workshop environment and evolving towards TWS, The Workshop Suite for TRATON, with the ambition to support workshop services across the entire TRATON Group.

Team Lynx is responsible for the Product Communication layer within SWS, a critical technical domain that enables communication between workshop tools and vehicles. This layer serves as the foundation that other teams and services build upon to create functionality used daily by workshop technicians.

In this role, you will work close to both cloud-based services and vehicle-facing systems, enabling everything from diagnostics and data retrieval to software updates and vehicle operations. The work combines backend development, cloud technologies, APIs, distributed systems and vehicle communication in a technically complex but highly tangible environment where solutions are tested in real workshop setups, rigs and on actual vehicles.

You will contribute to building stable, secure and scalable solutions that support the future of workshop services across the TRATON Group.
