Responsibilities

• The Manager, Maritime Technical (Decarbonization) is an execution-focused decarbonization process leader responsible for implementing the Corporation's decarbonization and Net Zero strategy in newbuild (NB) and in future cruise ship concepts. The role is responsible for further developing the NB decarbonization development process as well as harmonizing the working procedures within all NB projects. The Manager coordinates the technological development collaboration with shipyards and other stakeholders within multiple workstreams (e.g., energy efficiency, emissions abetment technologies, operational measures, energy management systems & digitalization) for achieving the decarbonization targets set for each NB project and enabling compliance with future emissions regulatory and enabling Net Zero operations of the ships.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages Decarbonization, Energy Efficiency and Net Zero development processes in NB projects
• Develops further the processes and harmonizes the working procedures across the newbuild projects
• Oversees the progress throughout a NB project, from concept design to final performance verification in service
