Lead Test Engineer (Helsinki)

We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer to join our Elisa Viihde team.

As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of testing activities, including designing and maintaining test suites, executing test scenarios manually, developing automated testing strategies, and implementing them using industry-standard testing frameworks. You will support the development of cloud APIs and applications across multiple platforms.

Elisa Viihde is available on set-top boxes, smart TVs, the web, and mobile devices, serving over 300,000 customers. The service offers hundreds of TV channels, live content, applications such as Netflix and HBO, as well as Elisa's own extensive entertainment library. We are the market leader in our field in Finland, and as a result, the daily volume of traffic is significant.

What we expect from you

At least 5 years of hands-on software testing experience

Solid understanding of different testing techniques and quality assurance practices

Creating automated tests using dedicated tools (e.g. Robot Framework) and good practices

Performing performance tests

Performing and reporting exploratory tests

Basic programming skills in Python and/or Java

Experience working with CI/CD environments

Using version control systems (Github)

Using defect reporting applications (Jira)

Experience creating test documentation (test plan, test report, basic test met
