About the Role You will help strengthen a cloud platform capability used by Data & Analytics teams in a complex enterprise environment. The role combines hands-on platform engineering with long-term design, automation, security, reliability and developer enablement. You will work closely with platform engineers, data engineers, architects and security stakeholders to evolve a GCP-based platform that supports scalable, secure and reusable ways of working. You will contribute to both platform foundations and day-to-day engineering, with a clear focus on improving self-service, standardization and operational quality for multiple teams. Job DescriptionYou will design, build and improve platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform. You will work hands-on with GKE, Kubernetes and container-based workloads. You will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, primarily using Terraform. You will contribute to CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery patterns. You will work with GCP networking, IAM, security and access management. You will develop reusable platform components and improve self-service for engineering teams. You will strengthen monitoring, logging, observability and operational reliability in the platform. You will support engineering teams as they onboard workloads onto the platform. You will collaborate with architects, security stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure platform solutions.
