Now we're bringing that engineering to Finland.
We're building a brand-new Center of Excellence in Helsinki, creating a rare opportunity to join one of its first engineering teams. You'll work across products and platforms within the Songtradr portfolio while helping shape the ways of working and engineering culture of our new Helsinki organisation.
Responsibilities
- We're looking for a Team Lead & Software Engineer to join our backend engineering team in Helsinki.
- This is first and foremost a hands-on engineering role. Around 80% of your time will be spent building software alongside the rest of the team, while approximately 20% will focus on supporting the people around you as their Team Lead.
- As Team Lead, you'll act as the people manager for a small team of engineers. You'll have regular 1:1s, lead development and performance discussions, coach and mentor team members, and help create an environment where people can do their best work.
- This isn't a traditional lead role where you spend your days assigning tasks or deciding what everyone should work on. Prioritisation is handled through the wider product and engineering process.
