Responsibilities
- The primary function of the Senior Firmware Test Engineer is to ensure the quality and reliability of MVSST embedded firmware through hands‑on implementation and execution of automated test solutions. The role focuses on developing and maintaining firmware test automation, executing system‑level verification, and supporting CI/CD testing in close collaboration with firmware, system, and hardware teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated firmware tests for MVSST product lines.
- Contribute to firmware test planning, including creation and execution of structured test plans for product features.
- Implement test solutions to verify system, power, and product requirements based on defined test strategies.
- Execute firmware testing activities and contribute technical input to functional and design reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain firmware tests as part of CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and early defect detection.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis together with firmware and system engineers.
