Would you like to shape how players experience a game, from the first interaction to the details that make each feature easy and enjoyable to use?
As a Senior UI Designer at Snowprint, you’ll design and implement UI for our games, working closely with designers, developers, artists, and other disciplines to turn ideas into experiences that players can use and enjoy. You’ll have ownership of your work, from early concepts and wireframes through to testing and improvement.
At Snowprint Studios, we believe that kindness, collaboration, curiosity, and self-leadership are what make great games possible. We work in small teams where people are trusted to take ownership, share ideas openly, and contribute beyond their own discipline. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we approach UI, establish good practices, and help create experiences that put the player first.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll design UI for new features and game systems, creating wireframes, mockups, and interaction patterns that make complex functionality clear and easy to use. You’ll bring your designs into Unity using UI Toolkit, working hands-on to turn them into polished, functional experiences.
You’ll playtest and evaluate your work regularly, gathering feedback and using it to improve the player experience. You’ll work closely with game designers, client developers, artists, and other team members throughout planning, development, and testing.
You’ll also contribute to how we work with UI as a discipline. This includes establishing best practices, creating useful workflows, and helping maintain consistency across the game. You’ll have room to influence the direction of the UI while balancing design principles with the practical realities of production.
