Responsibilities

• 1. Safety Management
• Deliver projects in accordance with Safety First Guiding Principles.
• Conduct site-specific induction training for all personnel under control.
• Develop or ensure the development of safe systems of work, using generic risk assessments to create task-specific assessments.
• Implement control measures when work occurs in public areas or occupied buildings to protect all affected individuals.
• Provide or ensure the provision of information, instruction, and training to operatives and subcontractors regarding emergency procedures and risk assessments.
• Review subcontractor documentation to ensure adequacy in planning, risk assessment, training, resources, and supervision.
• Regularly monitor and inspect activities to ensure safe completion.
• Seek guidance from the Safety Department promptly when required.

Requirements

• Qualifications & Experience - In-depth knowledge of safety practices, construction methods, and best practices, technologies, and materials. - Understanding of design procurement, measurement, valuation, contractual obligations. - Knowledge of claims, L&E, subcontract/material procurement, and management systems. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
