Development Engineer

About this role

Responsibilities

• You will maintain and develop the technical level of the plant's process equipment. You will participate in the design, procurement, and commissioning of new facilities and equipment as a representative of production. Your work will also include training of production personnel, participating in risk assessments, preparing instructions, and communicating with equipment suppliers. The position is located in Hanko.
• Approximately 200 people work at the Hanko plant, about 160 of whom are in production. You will be part of a team consisting of production professionals at the Hanko plant. You will also work closely with the plant's maintenance and project organization.
• As a Development Engineer, you will:
• Drive continuous improvement of production operations
• Lead and support development and process improvement projects
• Identify and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency
• Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
• Support the introduction of new technologies and working methods
