Responsibilities
- Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Systems (CPS) is seeking a Senior Firmware & FPGA Engineer to join our team in Vantaa. As a Senior Firmware & FPGA Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of Eaton's next-generation Medium Voltage Solid State Transformer (MVSST) technology. You will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of embedded firmware and FPGA-based control solutions for advanced power conversion systems. Working with global multidisciplinary teams, you will help deliver innovative, high-performance, and grid-interactive power electronics solutions that support the future of energy infrastructure.
- Your responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded firmware and FPGA solutions for MVSST systems, including real-time control algorithms, protection functions, and state machines.
- Develop and optimize high-speed digital control functions for power converters operating in medium-voltage applications.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to develop, test, and release firmware and FPGA functionality across Eaton's advanced power electronics portfolio.
