We're searching for a Data Scientist to join Nordnet's AIR (AI & Research) function, working embedded within the AI Platform team. Your mission: Enable the rest of the organisation with the best possible AI capabilities.
The Setup
You'll be working alongside platform engineers to tackle the full lifecycle—from exploring possibilities to deploying production features. Our technical foundation is Google Cloud Platform, where we've deployed internal and customer facing GenAI features. Now we're scaling what works and developing new capabilities.
This is not a theoretical role; you're a builder and problem-solver who thrives on iteration. You'll report to our Data Science Manager while working daily with the AI platform team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production AI pipelines from experimentation through deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineers throughout the development cycle—you'll work together on architecture and implementation in an iterative fashion.
- Drive quality through evaluation, metrics, and testing of AI solutions.
- Champion AI Governance - Ensure compliance with the bank's regulatory framework by clarifying AI concepts and risks

- You likely have:
- Experience with LLMs, GenAI and agentic AI
- Python skills for both exploration and production code.
- SQL proficiency for data analysis and pipeline building.
- Knowledge of ML/AI evaluation, metrics, and best practices.
- Experience with ML/AI in cloud environments (GCP experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of MLOps
