AI Lead, Marine

We are looking for an AI Lead for the Marine Business Unit to take ownership of Marine-specific AI development and turn business and engineering needs into practical solutions.

As part of the Marine Business Unit strategy, we are increasing our focus on artificial intelligence to improve competitiveness, efficiency, engineering processes, and ways of working. The role bridges technology, engineering and business, turning Marine challenges into AI-driven solutions and leading initiatives from idea to implementation.

Your role and the team

As our Marine AI Lead, you will drive the adoption and development of AI solutions across our Marine Business Unit. You will identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities, translate business needs into practical development initiatives, and lead projects from concept to implementation. You will also own and develop the Marine AI roadmap and initiative pipeline, ensuring that the most valuable opportunities are identified, prioritized, and translated into practical solutions.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, working closely with marine engineering experts, the Group AI team, and external partners. You will evaluate emerging AI technologies, guide technology choices, and ensure that AI solutions deliver tangible value to ship design, engineering, and business processes.

Initially, the role is highly hands-on, combining strategic ownership with practical experimentation, prototyping, and solution development. As our AI capabilities grow, the role may evolve into leading a broader Marine AI development function.
