About Easpring Finland
Easpring Finland is developing a battery materials plant in Kotka to meet the growing demand for battery materials in Europe. The plant will produce cathode active materials required for electric vehicle batteries.
We are now looking for an Environmental and Fire Safety Technician to join our HSE team.
Position Summary
As an Environmental and Fire Safety Technician, you will play a key role in managing Easpring’s environmental matters, including the implementation of the environmental monitoring plan, internal and external regulatory reporting, and fire safety systems.
The role involves daily monitoring, documentation and troubleshooting of environmental and fire protection systems, as well as coordination of related service providers. Statutory inspections, specialized maintenance, system modifications and the interpretation of regulatory requirements remain the responsibility of qualified experts and HSE management.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of the HSE culture at Easpring Finland New Materials Oy.
The position is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with environmental tasks, technical troubleshooting and practical activities outside a traditional office environment.
Responsibilities
- The role involves taking responsibility for the practical day-to-day management of the following areas:
- 1. Environmental Matters and Reporting (Internal and External)
- Oversee the implementation of the environmental monitoring plan and prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports.
- Carry out environmental sampling and arrange the dispatch of samples for analysis.
- Support internal and external regulatory reporting related to environmental matters.
