About Us
At MOIKKA, we make learning the Finnish language engaging, accessible, and fun! Whether our students are moving to Finland for work, study, or life, we guide them through their Finnish language journey with interactive courses and modern teaching methods. We are looking for a creative, energetic Media Intern to help expand our brand presence and connect with international learners through short-form video content.
Responsibilities
- Short-Form Video Production: Brainstorm, script, film, and edit engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) targeting Finnish language learners.
- Content Strategy: Plan and execute a monthly content calendar focused on educational tips (eg, funny Finnish phrases, grammar hacks, real-life conversation practice), student life, and school updates.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and interactions on our video platforms to build a welcoming community.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current viral trends, audio tracks, and formats across TikTok and Instagram, adapting them creatively to language learning.
- Basic Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics (views, engagement, reach) and offer suggestions to continuously improve video performance.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with teachers and current students to Capture Authentic Moments and user-generated content.

Role Overview As our Media Intern , you will be the creative voice behind our short-form video content on platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will produce engaging, entertaining, and educational videos that highlight Finnish culture, demystify the Finnish language, showcase student stories, and promote our courses. Please note this is an unpaid internship which is recommended as a practical training with credits in a study program.
