(Senior) Full-Stack Robotics Software Engineer (m/f/d) VLA & Humanoid Robotics
About this role
<p><strong>The</strong> <strong>AI Teams at Agile Robots</strong> are looking for a (<strong>Senior) Full-Stack Robotics Software Engineer (m/f/d)</strong>, who will build and maintain the software stack that runs vision-language-action (VLA) models on humanoid and industrial robots. You will help make sure VLA models run reliably once they reach these robots.</p>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>VLA Integration:</strong> Integrate VLA models into the robots' software stack to drive manipulation and task execution on humanoid and industrial platforms.</li>
<li><strong>Software Architecture:</strong> Design and implement software components and architectures for AI-enhanced robotics applications.</li>
<li><strong>Platform Integration:</strong> Develop applications that keep working across a changing set of robots and sensors.</li>
<li><strong>Stack Maintenance:</strong> Review and maintain the shared software stack used across humanoid and close-to-industry robot projects.</li>
<li><strong>Research Integration:</strong> Track new developments in robotics and AI software, and bring promising external components into the stack alongside in-house development.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Essential Skills</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Background:</strong> Degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualification, together with around four years building software for robotic systems.</li>
<li><strong>VLA Models:</strong> Hands-on experience building or integrating vision-language-action models on physical robots.</li>
