Job Description
Responsibilities
- As a Development Engineer, you will drive innovation and optimization of refrigeration circuits in our next-generation heat pump systems. From concept through validation, you will ensure that system performance meets customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers in an international, agile environment.
- Your Responsibilities
- You design and select refrigeration components based on system requirements.
- You collaborate with suppliers to adapt components to our needs.
- You take ownership of system performance KPIs.
- You develop and execute test plans to verify system targets.
- You perform simulations to iterate designs and solve technical challenges.
- You work on new concepts and support patent applications.
- You lead or participate in safety strategies, risk assessments, and lifecycle improvement projects.
- You contribute to building internal know-how, training colleagues and shaping technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a focus on thermodynamics or refrigeration.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and refrigeration.
- Experience in selecting, testing, and validating refrigeration components and systems.
- Comfortable working in a lab environment with test rigs and measurement tools.
