We are now looking for a Data Engineer!
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, optimization, and operation of our data infrastructure and backend systems. You will work closely with a collaborative team of engineers, focusing on technologies such as SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure, C# and ASP.NET Core. If you are passionate about building scalable, efficient, data-driven backend solutions, we want to hear from you.
Who you are:
You have experience tuning all aspects of SQL Server, including query and execution-plan analysis and know exactly where to place the right index.
Your savvy troubleshooting skills include identifying and mitigating locking and concurrency issues.
You know what is important when it comes to observability and monitoring, what needs acting on as well as identifying blind spots.
You are comfortable automating and orchestrating repetitive tasks such as reports and data exports.
You are experienced with data classification and different retention needs.
You have experience in backend development using C# and ASP.NET Core.
You are familiar with cloud platform providers such as Azure and their data infrastructure services.
Responsibilities
- Database management: Design and implement efficient database structures using SQL Server, optimizing data storage, and retrieval for optimal system performance.
- Database operations: Ensure database operations under sustained production load are healthy and performant, supporting both players, designers and fellow developers in their day-to-day activities.
