We are now looking for a Propulsion System Responsible Designer for the 40-member Machinery Design Department. The Machinery Design Department is responsible for the system design, equipment procurement, and detailed design of ship propulsion machinery and related systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Propulsion systems and their related interfaces as a systems responsible designer in ship projects.
Your responsibilities will cover interfaces with hull structures and foundations, piping systems, remote control systems, and other connected ship systems.
You will oversee the economical, regulatory, technical, and qualitative design choices related to these systems throughout the entire project.
Your role includes participation in the selection and development of propulsion solutions for ship concepts, as well as the technical coordination of propulsion systems and their interfaces throughout the design process.
