About the team

You'll join Silicon Labs' Bluetooth software team, which develops embedded software for our Bluetooth and multiprotocol IoT products. We're looking for software engineers with strong fundamentals who want to build reliable products and learn more about wireless technology.

Job description

As a Software Engineer, you'll work with an agile product team to design, implement, test, and document embedded software. You'll contribute throughout development, from early design discussions to delivery and maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesTake part in feature design and architecture discussions, then turn those decisions into production-quality software.

Develop maintainable C software that follows the team's coding standards.

Write automated tests and expand regression and performance coverage.

Improve build scripts, continuous integration workflows, developer tools, and technical documentation.

Investigate challenging embedded and systems software issues, including problems reported by customers.

Suggest and implement practical improvements to product quality, developer workflows, and team practices.

As you gain experience, you may also work with wireless specifications or participate in Bluetooth SIG activities.

Required qualificationsExperience with software design through coursework, an internship, or a project.

Strong C programming skills in an embedded or systems context;
