Responsibilities
- As a Mine planner with focus on field work and short term planning, you will act as a link between mine planning and daily operations. A significant part of your time will be spent underground, working closely with production teams to ensure plans are practical, achievable and aligned with operational needs. You will also contribute to medium and long-term planning by providing valuable operational insights.
- You will:
- Support and develop short-term mine plans in close collaboration with operations.
- Conduct regular underground field visits to verify conditions and identify constraints.
- Monitor mining progress and provide planning recommendations.
- Coordinate with production teams to support safe and efficient mining activities.
- Analyze operational data and contribute to planning across different time horizons.
- Prepare planning documentation, reports and presentations.
- You will be part of a collaborative planning team where your understanding of both field conditions and planning processes has a direct impact on operational performance.
