Responsibilities
- The short term planning role within the mine planning team is responsible for creating sustainable short term plans for the mine of Kiruna, following the mine planning standards and aligning to the budget plans.
- The role responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Create short term plans (in a monthly basis), deliver these in time. These include development, drilling, and production plans.
- Monthly plans should align with budget plans.
- Actively participate in meetings with different groups in the mine to get feedback about the status of the operation.
- Understanding of the ground control management plan is important.
- What you bring
- We are looking for a short term planner with at least B.Sc in mining engineering and more than 2 years of operational experience within mining industry.
- Planning experience and basic knowledge of Deswik.IS and Deswik.SCHED is essential for the role.
- Understanding of sequencing, following the rockmechanics recommendations is critical for the role.
- As a person you should be responsible and driven, but also flexible. The position includes collaboration between different groups in the company, so good collaboration and communication skills are essential.
- B-level driver's license is a requirement for the position.
- You speak and write English fluently with meritorious Swedish at any level.
