Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to strengthen our team in Huskvarna. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing automation solutions and test systems used within our engineering and product development environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Programming and developing PLC-based automation solutions, primarily in Beckhoff TwinCAT 3

Commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated equipment and test systems

Supporting machine safety implementation and ensuring compliance with relevant standards

Working with system integration and communication between automation systems and connected equipment

Collaborating with internal stakeholders across product groups, projects, and improvement initiatives

Participating in the development of new test solutions as well as the continuous improvement of existing systems

Providing technical expertise and contributing to long-term automation strategies

This is a hands-on role where you will drive automation initiatives independently while working closely with engineers, developers, and internal customers.
