Responsibilities

  • As a Global Credit Manager, you will be responsible for competence development through ongoing development and maintenance of global credit training and credit review processes.
  • Your starting point will be to, together with your colleagues at VFS and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, take responsibility in the following areas for your assigned markets/regions:
  • Coordinates VFS credit review process for transactions that exceed the regional or market authority.•    Make credit decisions up to their agreed delegated authority and make recommendations on deals exceeding their authority.•    Conducts reviews of underwriting quality in local markets, reports findings to SVP Credit and Risk as well as Region SVPs within VFS•    Performs the role Secretary of Executive Credit Committee (ECC) for VFS when deals from your region are heard.•    Monitors and closes outstanding follow-up items from ECC decisions•    Reports on ECC activity, including approval rates, outstanding conditions, and declines by market, credit grade, and brand•    Assist the Global Credit Director with the administration and management of the two SharePoint sites owned by HQ Credit & Risk (ECC SharePoint and HQ Credit & Risk)•    Assist in the ongoing reporting related to Group Credit Exception frame, Top 15 retail and wholesale accounts and watchlist.•    Leads development of presentation materials for Group Credit Exception transactions should the need occur•    Develop and update presentations to AB Volvo for transactions exceeding VFS credit authority•    Support the review process and provide recommendation
