Your future team
You'll join the team behind Device Management within Axis Cloud Connect (ACC) - a platform of strategic importance, used by the majority of Axis customers and partners worldwide. We own the full device lifecycle: onboarding, provisioning, authentication, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and diagnostics for connected devices across surveillance systems globally.
We're a team of ~21 engineers with strong diversity and a genuinely collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer, you'll work in an autonomous agile squad of 4-5 engineers, where you'll:
- Design and develop device onboarding and provisioning flows - spanning edge firmware and cloud services
- Build secure, MQTT-based communication between devices and the cloud
- Work primarily in C# and Go

- Preferred background & skills
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent
- An agile mindset with an understanding of DevOps
- Experience with AWS cloud development and Kubernetes
- Experience with embedded/edge systems or IoT device fleets at scale
- Solid grasp of network protocols and device communication - TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/mTLS, HTTP/HTTPS
- Bonus: exposure to device provisioning/bootstrapping protocols, PKI/ce
