We're looking for a Product Image Engineer to help us develop more network tech innovations at our Stockholm site!

Who is your future team?

Working together in a team, you will be a part of how our new multi-channel cameras come to life. At Axis, product image engineers are responsible for the product image quality, thus they are involved in the whole product development process.

In this role, you will collaborate with co-workers from different disciplines, such as mechanical design, electronics, software, production testing and many more.

What you´ll do as a Product Image Engineer

As an Image Engineer at Axis you will work in a cross functional team to develop new cameras from a concept phase to a complete product. Your responsibility will be to optimize the image regarding optics, image sensor and image processing. You will also setup production tests and support the production test flow by analyzing test results/statistics, on- and off-site. The role as a Product Image Engineer is very broad, and you will work closely with many different roles and organizations at Axis.

Your main tasks will be:

Optimizing image quality in new camera development projects. This is done by tuning auto-exposure and auto-focus, noise filtering, white balance, color-calibration and other image processing algorithms. Participating and contributing to the choice of optics and image sensors. This is done in cooperation with the mechanics and electronics teams as well as external partners.
