Job description: Let's introduce ourselves

Test Facilities Development is part of Engineering Operations (91000) within Volvo Cars Engineering. Our core responsibility is to develop, procure and install facilities for testing and prototype builds.

We provide advanced engineering services ranging from initial pilot studies to fully operational facilities, covering both minor equipment and large-scale installations. Most of our work is carried out in project form, in close collaboration with internal customers, purchasing department, consultants and external contractors.

The Test Facilities Development team consists of 19 employees, supported by consultants through bought services.

Responsibilities

  • As a Project Manager/Computer System Engineer, you will be part of a team with primary focus on control and computer systems. You will be responsible for defining and leading projects and assignments aimed at delivering test solutions for our R&D test facilities.
