About this role

The Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT) is seeking Postdoctoral Fellows to join the Helsinki region information technology research community. The position is intended support early-career researchers on their road towards being independent researchers, in collaboration with one or more supervisors in HIIT Faculty. The position gives the fellows excellent opportunities for high-quality and high-impact research and for creating research networks supporting their careers.

Position details

Positions are intended for researchers who have recently completed their doctoral degree or who will complete their doctoral degree before starting the position.

Positions are hosted by Aalto University and University of Helsinki - the parent universities of HIIT.

Positions are fully funded including salary and travel/publication costs, salaries follow the host universities' pay scales.

Positions are for up to three years with flexible starting dates, negotiated individually

A successful applicant joins the research group of a HIIT Faculty member acting as a supervisor, matched based on mutual interest
