About the role

At Verda, we're building next-generation cloud infrastructure for AI workloads. As we scale our infrastructure, customer base, and international operations, we're also building the compliance function that supports that growth. We're looking for a Compliance Intern to work closely with the Compliance team across a range of projects and day-to-day activities. You'll get exposure to KYC, risk, privacy, information security, audits, and compliance operations, while helping build processes that are actively used across the business.

We're ambitious, curious, and pragmatic builders. We operate with low hierarchy, high ownership, and a strong bias for action. We've already achieved a lot, but we're only getting started.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Compliance team across both recurring activities and projects as we continue to build our compliance programme.Support day-to-day compliance activities across the business

Help maintain compliance documentation, records, and evidence

Assist with KYC and other operational compliance processes

Research regulatory and compliance requirements and summarise relevant findings

Support compliance reviews and internal control assessments

Help prepare evidence for audits and certification activities

Track compliance actions, deadlines, and follow-ups

Work with teams across Verda to collect and organise information

Help identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes
