The team you'll be part of

The patent licensing team within Nokia Technologies licenses Nokia's global patent portfolios, runs the patent licensing programs and supporting functions, is responsible for contract management and licensee compliance. We are continuously looking for junior lawyers to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • What you will learn and contribute to
  • As part of our team, you will:
  • Support Nokia's patent licensing programs and participate in patent license negotiations.
  • Support organization in achieving business goals and targets and contribute to shaping its future.
  • Learn how to manage and lead patent license negotiations from start to finish.

Requirements

  • You have:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience. Experience and earlier exposure to patent licensing and IPR is considered a must.
  • University degree: Master of Laws.
  • Good negotiation, influencing and presentation skills as well as a team player mindset.
  • Project management skills, and determination to see things through to completion.
  • Able to work with high degree of independence within agreed targets.
  • Ability to think and act creatively in order to develop and apply new innovative approaches to complex problems.
  • Analytical skills and understanding of financial analyses
  • Willingness to travel and to work under pressure.
  • Communication skills, excellent command of written and spoken English
