About the role

Verda is looking for a Tax Manager to join our finance team in Helsinki. As the company scales, this role will become the dedicated point of contact for all tax and compliance matters - work that's currently being handled without formal tax expertise in-house. You'll own tax filings and compliance, build and scale the group's tax related processes and provide critical support on mergers and acquisitions as Verda continues to grow.

This is a foundational hire for the tax function at Verda - a chance to build the processes and structure that will scale with the business, with direct visibility to senior leadership.

Your responsibilitiesOwn and manage Verda's tax filing obligations across relevant jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include questions from both direct and indirect taxation in an international setting.

Serve as the primary point of contact for tax-related questions across the business, replacing ad hoc handling by non-specialist team members
