The Department of Film, ELO , is the only university-level film school in Finland. It is a vital combination of innovative art academy and an active, practice-based and artistic research unit. It teaches all aspects of filmmaking and performance design as separate skill sets. Our faculty consists of international-level practicing filmmakers, scenographers and researchers.

Project Manager (fixed-term, 2 years)

Aalto ARTS/ELO seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a curriculum development project, coordinate annual teaching/research processes (degree reform, timetables, joint courses, Curriculum Planner, room bookings), and build agile, user-friendly, data-driven processes. You'll support faculty, improve staff workflows and the student experience, and report to ELO's management.

Requirements: 3-5 years of successful project leadership; process development and service concepting; strong collaboration/facilitation; understanding of film and audiovisual (AV) industry practices good Finnish and English; relevant degree. Merits: curriculum/timetabling experience; change management, service design and stakeholder communications; basics of research funding; data-driven approach.
