Responsibilities
- As a Mechanical Design Manager, you are responsible for leading the mechanical design of mission-critical data center projects across Europe, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and related building mechanical systems. You will ensure mechanical systems are reliable, scalable, maintainable, energy-efficient, and well-integrated with the wider data center infrastructure.
- You will work closely with internal teams, local consultants, contractors, vendors, authorities, and operations stakeholders to deliver coordinated, compliant, and high-quality design solutions. You'll play a key role in ensuring DayOne's electrical infrastructure meets company standards, applicable European and local regulations, authority requirements, industry best practice and end-user expectations
- The key responsibilities include,Mechanical Design Oversight: Leading the mechanical design process for data center projects, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and related systems.
- Cooling and Thermal Performance: Overseeing cooling architecture, heat rejection, chilled water systems, airflow management, redundancy, energy efficiency, and maintainability.
- Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinating mechanical interfaces with electrical, architectural, civil, structural, fire protection, ELV, controls, operat
