We are looking for a Lead Reactor Module Instrumentation Engineer to take technical ownership of the LDR-50 reactor module instrumentation processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the definition, specification, sourcing, qualification support, and integration of instrumentation used to monitor the reactor’s key process parameters. You will also work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure alignment across various aspects, including solutions, safety, and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and integration of Reactor Module instrumentation.
  • Define instrumentation requirements and support the selection of suitable measurement technologies.
  • Work with suppliers to identify solutions, obtain quotations and support equipment development and qualification.
  • Coordinate interfaces with mechanical engineering for sensor installation, cabling, routing and maintainability.
  • Work with I&C and Nuclear Safety to ensure instrumentation supports the required plant functions.
  • Interface with Core Design on nuclear instrumentation and detector positioning.
