We are looking for a professional Lead Nuclear Fuel Engineer to take responsibility for ensuring the safety, compliance, quality, and lifecycle management of LDR-50’s nuclear fuel and control rods. The role covers ownership of versatile activities, such as design, licensing, vendor oversight, and regulatory compliance. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the nuclear power plant’s design phase through fuel and control rod procurement and licensing activities, while driving excellence in nuclear safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Nuclear fuel and control rod procurement, licensing and regulatory compliance:
- Manage nuclear fuel and control rod licensing activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and applicable standards (e.g., YVL E.2).
- Develop nuclear fuel and control rod procurement guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with national nuclear regulations and best international practices (e.g., YVL B.4).
- Interface with regulators on fuel and control rod safety matters.
- Prepare and review licensing documentation and regulatory submissions.
