Position Summary:

This position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning, and preparing equipment for use in various departments.

Responsibilities  & Knowledge :

Set up and tear down of the saw.

Run the saw with maximum speed, slicing yield, and percent acceptable products.

Perform minor maintenance on saw to include changing of blades and cleaning the saw to keep it running efficiently.

Perform necessary paperwork and process control checks.

Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.

Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.

Perform any other work as assigned by management.

Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.:  addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and accurately and record/report product information into the computer as required.

Ability and willingness to scan or input into the computer system all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including changeovers.

Preferred Skills:

Machine Operator experience preferred

Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

RF Scanner experience preferred
