Responsibilities

  • Owning the growth of Freenow by Lyft business in Spain by identifying, prioritizing and delivering high-impact operational initiatives that increase completed rides and accelerate marketplace performance.
  • Identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities, including new product features, strategic partnerships, expansion initiatives and operational improvements, defining the optimal go-to-market approach for the local market.
  • Developing business cases, performance analysis and executive recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Leading growth projects end-to-end, from opportunity assessment and planning to execution, performance monitoring and continuous optimization.
  • Partnering with Central Product, Marketplace, Pricing and Marketing teams to adapt global strategies, product features and commercial initiatives to local market dynamics while influencing future roadmap decisions.
  • Leading the local rollout and testing of new products and features, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution, adoption and measurable business impact.
  • Driving growth across strategic demand channels, including airports and other high-value points of interest, by developing operational partnerships and improving the customer experience at key locations.
  • Providing strategic market intelligence through continuous monitoring of competitor activity, customer behaviour and industry trends, translating insights into actionable recommendations that shape local and central business decisions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the General Manager by bringing a local market perspective, identifying emerging opportunities and influencing Freenow's long-term growth strategy.
  • Travel will be required around 20% of the time, with some weeks not travelling and others with up to a full week or a few days away.
  • You have 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Operations, Consulting or Tech, with a proven track record of managing and executing projects end-to-end.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or have an equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience.
  • You are hands-on, highly execution-focused, and results-oriented, ready to dive into day-to-day operations, navigate ambiguity, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • You possess strong analytical thinking and strategic skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable operational insights and business decisions.

Requirements

  • You are proficient in data tools, including advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, and SQL (Python is a plus).
  • You bring a growth mindset, using data and local market insights to identify operational opportunities, test initiatives, and prioritize high-impact projects.
  • You demonstrate strong project and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align teams without direct authority.
  • You are comfortable managing relationships with key external stakeholders (such as airport authorities or major venue operators) to optimize venue operations and drive location demand.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required due to regular interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
