About this role

We are now looking for a Portfolio Planner on the behalf of our client.

In this role, you will not only take ownership of identifying Portfolio (processes, data and tools) gaps, proposing solutions, and ensuring identified improvements reach full implementation but you will also develop advanced tools and Power BI dashboards. Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Planning:
  • Proactively identify gaps and underperforming processes, analyze bottlenecks, and drive improvements independently (from gap identification through solution design and full implementation readiness) working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Maintain and update the integrated portfolio roadmap aligned with business needs and other organisations
  • Ensure transparency of data through clear visualization (Portfolio views, programmes views, project views, org workload, KPIs, Decisions, Financial views, etc.)
  • Benchmark outside the organization to identify possible improvement opportunities
  • Governance & Reporting:
  • Support governance forums with data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Ensure data accuracy of portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and status reports for better-informed strategic and operational decisions
  • Data Collection & Preparation:
  • Gathering data from primary and secondary sources. Ensuring data accuracy and consistency by organizing and preparing it for analysis
  • Optimizing data management to fit consumption purposes
  • Tool Development & Automation:
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards for portfolio reporting and KPIs
  • Create automation workflows using Power Automate and VBA scripts to streamline processes
  • Integrate new tools into existing infrastructure with min
