Job description:One of the world’s largest high-voltage laboratory is searching for a new Test Engineer!

In this role, you will help our customers connect to a greener world, whether that means securing power from a floating wind farm or a large-scale solar park.

Support NKT’s global testing and ensure high-quality delivery

In our test laboratories, the largest AC & DC electrical test labs in Northern Europe, you will take on a key role in executing and supporting testing activities. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that cable systems meet all technical requirements throughout their lifecycle.

You will also contribute to feasibility assessments by supporting tender and project teams in evaluating test requirements and ensuring that testing scopes are realistic, optimized and well-defined.

Travel is required approximately 5–10 times per year.

Your primary responsibilities:

Support Tender and Project Managers with technical input related to testing and feasibility assessments

Review and assess test requirements, ITPs and technical documentation to ensure feasibility and compliance

Contribute to optimizing and improving testing processes, quality and efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure the right resources for test execution

Engaged and curious Test Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Test Engineer who enjoys working with both practical testing and technical analysis. You have a structured way of working, good problem-solving skills and an interest in understanding complex technical requirements.

A relevant educational background, preferably a Mas
