At Volvo Cars, we are shaping the future of mobility with safety, sustainability, quality, and innovation at the core. The Group Design Lead is a program manager driving the implementation of our Seats Functions, combining SW and HW. You lead supplier as well as internal team. This role combines technical understanding with leadership and assignment coordination, including responsibility for balancing time, technology, and cost to achieve the desired quality, functionality, and delivery precision.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with our coming content for new cars for Seats Function & Control.You will:
  • Lead and contribute to solution development through concept development, verification, and technical documentation in early- as well as late phases. The work involves project coordination and planning.
  • Produce and quality assure design documentation to support decision-making, communication, evaluation, and implementation of technical solutions.
