Senior Android Connectivity Developer
About this role
Amaris Consulting is looking for a Senior Android Connectivity Developer to join one of our key clients in Lund. You will be part of their engineering organization, working on cutting-edge connected products where Android, Linux, communication protocols and underlying system components come together.
About the role
As a Senior Android engineer with a focus on connectivity and platform-level system development, you will:
Develop and enhance connectivity features for connected products
Work with Android and Linux at system/platform level
Troubleshoot, analyse and improve communication stacks and protocols
Collaborate closely with other engineering teams (Android, embedded, connectivity, audio, etc.)
Contribute to robust, reliable connectivity solutions used in products worldwide
This is a consultant assignment where you are employed by Amaris Consulting and work daily at our client’s site in Lund.
Your profile
We believe you have:
Excellent knowledge of C and/or C++
Several years of experience in embedded development in Linux-based environments
Several years of experience in Android system development, preferably at platform level
Advanced knowledge of Bluetooth and other wireless communication technologies
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and analysing communication protocols and stacks
Strong ability to investigate complex system issues and drive troubleshooting from problem identification to resolution
It is a plus if you also have:
Experience with the Android Framework
Experience with audio-related functions in Android
Experience with Linux-based communication solutions
Experience from the automotive industry or other safety‑critical systems
