Software Engineer (C/C++)

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with Interest in Advanced Testing and Troubleshooting, focused on ensuring stability and ongoing evolution of critical security components for the automotive middle-layer platform.

Our team is dedicated to developing and enhancing the Secure Gateway, a solution ensuring tha only trusted data is allowed to interact with the vehicle. As we embark on building the next-generation mobility platform, we’re setting the foundation for the most secure vehicles on the road.

You’ll be responsible for writing requirement-based tests, maintaining code quality to AUTOSAR standards, ensuring stability of the Component within Continuous Integration systems and handling bug mitigation, if such will be found.

To be a good fit for this role, you are familiar with:

Software development (C/C++, Python)

Embedded systems

Networking stacks and protocols (e.g. TCP/UDP, Ethernet)

Automotive industry

Job responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Engineer in the Secure Gateway team, you will support the development of the software to be deployed on electronic control unit. The team has full product lifecycle responsibility, meaning that we need to support the product all the way, from the early design phase to the final troubleshooting in the vehicle. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team, whose shared goal is to uphold and advance the security of our products. Your role will also involve fostering an environment of knowledge-sharing and support, which is central to our team’s success.

As an Embedded Software Engineer for this position, you will:

Perform system fault tracing in test rigs, boxcars and vehicles

Analyze problems using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and diagnostic tool
