The doctoral researchers of Doctoral Programme in Immunology (ImmuDocs) carry out their doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine or at the Faculty of Science or at the Faculty of Technology or at Turku School of Economics. The ImmuDocs doctoral programme offers a nationally and internationally recognized environment for advanced doctoral education in immunology. In addition, ImmuDocs covers related fields, including immunology-based drug development, diagnostics, and technology development. With a strong foundation in the University's long-standing immunological research, the programme is closely affiliated with the national InFLAMES Flagship.
Job description
A doctoral researcher position begins on 1 January 2027 or by agreement during the year 2027 up to until 31 December 2027.
When determining the length of the employment, previously awarded funding for doctoral studies as well as the planned schedule and stage of the doctoral degree will be taken into account. The position is applied for completing the doctoral dissertation or completing a subproject within the doctoral dissertation. A subproject refers to a clearly defined and delimited part of the doctoral research that can be completed during the employment period and results in a concrete outcome (e.g. a scientific article or an analysis).
