We are looking for a Teacher in early childhood education to Pilke daycare centre ICEC Töölö in Helsinki

The position requires a willingness to utilise your competence, to develop and innovate new ideas and to provide the children and colleagues with a good day through personal engagement. The daycare centre has places for 40 children.

Pilke daycare centre ICEC Töölö is an English-language daycare centre, located in the centre of Helsinki on Dunckerinkatu with good transport connections. The daycare centre has space for 40 children.

ICEC daycare centres follow the Finnish national early childhood education plan in an international environment. The daycare centre's activities emphasise children's creativity, play, multiculturalism and participatory learning.

As a teacher in early childhood education, your task is to support and foster the children's growth, development and learning. You are familiar with the content of the national core curricula for early childhood education and care and capable of putting them into practice. You plan, assess and develop the child group's pedagogical activities and, for your part, are responsible for the implementation of high-quality pedagogy at your unit. You base your working methods on pedagogical principles, a positive and active attitude, good interactive skills and the ability to encounter children genuinely.
